Recruitment Privacy Policy for Job Applicants
As part of Arnold Hill’s recruitment process, the firm collects and processes personal data relating to job applicants. The firm is committed to being transparent about how it collects and uses that data and to meeting its data protection obligations.
What information does Arnold Hill collect on you?
This includes:
• your name, address and contact details, including email address and telephone number;
• details of your qualifications, skills, experience and employment history;
• information about your current level of remuneration, and any benefit entitlements;
• information about your entitlement to work in the UK.
Arnold Hill may collect this information in a variety of ways. For example, data might be contained in application forms, CVs, obtained from your passport or other identity documents, or collected through our interviews process.
We may also collect personal data about you from third parties, such as references supplied by former employers, Universities and other forms of education. This is completed once we have offered you the position.
Data will be stored in a range of different places, including on your new starter form, on our HR management systems and on other IT systems (including email).
Who has access to data?
Your information may be shared internally for the purposes of recruitment. This includes members of the HR and Recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process.
For how long does the organisation keep data?
If you send us your CV and cover letter speculatively (and we do not have an open vacancy) and we think you would be a great fit to our team; we would like to hold your CV on our systems until a suitable position is available. Your information will held for 12 months. If you do not want us to do this, please let us know upon sending your CV. At the end of the period, or once you withdraw your consent your data will be deleted.
